3 Tips to Reducing Your Stress and Creating a Positive Mindset

Today I felt it in my heart to share ways I reduce my stress and create a positive mindset.

I do these tips on a regular basis and it certainly helps me and puts me in a positive mood.

The first tip I want to share that really set me on a journey to reduce my stress and find more peace and positivity in my life.

Tip # 1 POSITIVE AFFIRMATIONS

I’m sure a lot of you have heard about this before and may even practice it (which is so good, but whether you have heard about it or not or practice it or not, it’s a great technique to use.

You can look up positive affirmations through Google, YouTube, or whatever platform you want.

  1.  Choose a video or scripted affirmations that may resonate with you or you feel you want to become. (Choose as many as you feel comfortable with.)
  1. Make it a daily habit to repeat these affirmations. You can start off just writing them down, progress to saying them out loud to yourself, and then saying them out loud in the mirror.
  1.  Try to say them in the morning to set positive intentions in the morning and bring good vibes (if you’re able) . It’s okay if you don’t quite believe them right away. It can take time. Just keep going!
  1.  Keep trying these affirmations daily and you will start to feel or see a shift in your mind and how you’re feeling.

Tip #2 JOURNALING

Journaling is one of my favorite things to do whenever I am faced with any type of emotion.  Whether I am stressed, want to write about what great things happened to me, down to even setting my intentions for the day by writing positive affirmations and what I am grateful for.

Journaling can allow you to release whatever feelings you’re feeling without the fear of being ashamed, embarrassed, or being judged.

My hope for you is to allow journaling to be an outlet and be FREE with your thoughts.

There are many ways to journal and it doesn’t have to be with a pen/pencil on paper.

Here is a list of ideas on ways to journal:

  1. Typing it out on your laptop, phone, computer, etc.
  1. Dictate (record your voice)
  1. Video record yourself

The best thing about journaling is that you can always go back and reflect on how much you have grown!

Tip #3 POSITIVE MEDITATION MUSIC

Listening to positive meditation music is one of my favorite things to do! It soothes me, motivates, and gets me through my day!

Try listening to positive music to get your day started or wind down and decompress after a long day at work.

You can listen to positive affirmation meditation music, nature sounds (I love the sound of rain and waterfalls! ) and even high vibe energetic music to dance to!

Choose whatever makes you feel good, reduces your stress, and improves your mood in a positive way.

I also incorporate journaling and listening to positive affirmation music to either release what I’m feeling or to up level my positive vibe.

All of these tips can be done together or separately in order to reduce your stress and create a positive mindset.

Whatever you decide to choose, make the best of it and do it daily!

Wishing you positive vibes!
